Chemist staff win Yorkshire Day hamper - hampers stuffed full of Yorkshire goodies were the prizes in ‘The Great Yorkshire Quiz’ organised by Morrison’s Community Champion and Wetherby District Lions Club (CIO) to celebrate ‘Yorkshire Day’.
Mark Hopkins, Morrison’s Community Champion, said “Over 200 entries were distributed in the store and around the town. Thanks to the support of Wetherby Lion members, the quiz was a ‘roaring’ success!”

Wetherby Lions joined forces with supermarket giant Morrison’s to celebrate Yorkshire Day in the form of a 10-question quiz for shoppers at the town-centre store. And with a giant hamper up for grabs as first prize there was no shortage of aisle-browsers coming up with the answers to the Yorkshire-themed posers.
