Founder Member of Wetherby District Lions Club Honoured at the 49th Charter Anniversary Dinner

Remaining Charter Member, Lion Colin Gaden, was honoured at the Club’s Charter Anniversary celebration at the Wetherby Golf Club on Friday the 17th of April 2015. Lion Colin is in his 50th year of active and dedicated service to the Club.

He was presented with a Charter Member’s badge and a 50 year chevron. He was also presented with a photograph of himself holding the original Wetherby Lions Club Charter. He is pictured below, surrounded by Club members.

Lion Colin’s outstanding contribution to the Club is unequalled. Over the years he has served as President, Secretary and Chairman of the Welfare committee and is a well known and respected member of the community.
