Gold & Bronze for Kadeena in the Rio Paralympics

On behalf of our President, Mike Earle and all members of Wetherby Lions Club we wish to congratulate Kadeena on her fantastic achievements at the RIO Paralympics.

To win a Gold in the timed cycling event and a Bronze in the 100metres in successive days is a milestone! As widely reported, she is the first Briton to win a medal in two sporting events since 1988 and must be very proud of such a performance.

We are also proud to have been associated with Kadeena, albeit in a small way, when we presented her with the cycle, donated by Dean Buckle of the Wetherby Bike Shack in July last year.

We wish Kadeena every success in your sporting career in the coming years.
