Wetherby Lions receive a cheque for £21,103.00

Wetherby Lions received a cheque for £21,103.00 from John Taylorson MBE for their work at the ‘Great Yorkshire Bike Ride’ which took place in June this year. This money will be passed primarily to other Yorkshire Lions Clubs and local Wetherby organisations that helped us on the day of the event. The remainder of the monies will go to deserving causes in the Wetherby Community.

Lion John accepted a ‘Special Award for Outstanding Services’ given to Filey Lions Club for their diligent work over many years.
