IT Experts Get into the Festival Mood
One of Wetherby’s leading private companies showed its support for the forthcoming 'Wetherby Lions Beer Festival' by becoming one of the event’s first sponsors

“As soon as we recognised that it was one of the town’s major community events, and that the money raised by the Lions would all go to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, we were happy to sign up as a sponsor,” said Becky Coates, Marketing Manager of IT specialists, ICC.

The 'Wetherby Lions Beer Festival', now in its eighth year, has so far raised some £35,000 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. “Thanks to the generosity of ICC, and other organisations who are showing an interest, we aim to hit the £40,000 total mark this year, and I would urge anyone not yet on board to contact me as soon as possible for one of our sponsorship packages,” says Ken Campbell Lion Sponsorship Manager. The Festival takes place at St James Church Rooms, Church Street, Wetherby, on Friday September 14 (6-10 pm) and Saturday September 15 (12-8 pm) featuring a great selection of local craft beers and ciders. Saturday additionally features a 'Prosecco Bar', food, entertainment and a special area for children’s activities so bring along your families and friends.
