Maurice Upton Long Service Award

At a recent Wetherby District Lions Business Meeting, Lion President John Boulton was delighted to present Lion Maurice Upton with a 'Certificate of Fellowship' in recognition of his 35 years of service to the local community.

Lion Maurice, a retired Firefighter based in now aged 76 years, has served the Wetherby community within Lionism for 35 years. Joining as a member of Wetherby Lions in 1984 he has supported the charitable organisation in many ways over the years including attending numerous fundraising events and welfare activities.
