WETHERBY Lions welcomes as a new Beer Festival sponsor one of the town’s most recently-opened businesses, 'Rainflorist'. The colourful displays at the entrance ensure passers-by can’t miss the shop in Cross Street and York-based owner Jo is keen to become quickly integrated into the Wetherby community. She says “It’s such a lovely town and the Beer Festival sounds a great opportunity for people to get together in a fun environment and let their hair down. I’m pleased to offer my support".
'Rainflorist' offers a same-day delivery service in Wetherby with an order before 11.00 am and bouquets can be ordered online, by telephone or in person. Good luck Jo, and may your hard work brighten up many a home and occasion.
Likewise at the Wetherby Lions Beer Festival to be held on 24th & 25th May 2019 at St James’ Church Centre it will be a 'colourful' event. Come along of Friday 24th May from 4.00 pm and see the well known local Irish Band, the 'Blarney Boys' (from 7.30 pm) and see the 'Mardi Gras Jazz Band' on Saturday from Noon.
Try the many beers that have been chosen this year from the brewers along Stage 2 of the Tour de Yorkshire.
