Unfortunately due to the coronavirus (COVID19) outbreak the Great Yorkshire Bike Ride 2020 event has been cancelled for this year and is now scheduled to take place on Saturday 19th June 2021.

For those already registered with the event, your place is still valid although you will need to re-register to confirm your place; we are hoping you are still available to take part.

We do understand that riders may have other plans on this date next year which would unfortunately mean you are unable to take part. If for any reason you aren’t available on next year, please do contact the agency where you registered (Heart Research UK/British Cycling) to discuss a refund.

The good news is that this gives riders longer to train as well as more time to fundraise for the wonderful Yorkshire charities involved in this event (of which Wetherby Lions is one), who will be hit heavily with other events being cancelled and people being unable to host fundraising events for them.

Wetherby Lions really appreciate your continued support.Keep safe.

If you would like to help your community we would love to hear from you so please contact us by telephoning 0345 833 9529, by completing the contact form on our website or sending an email to secretary.wetherbylions@gmail.com. Likewise if you need help in any way with a local project, please get in touch.

We look forward to your continued support.
