Dickensian Christmas Market & Craft Fayre
RAISING MONEY FOR: MIDWINTER PARTY AND THE LOCAL COMMUNITY
We're back on Sunday 13th December 2026

Dickensian Christmas Market Recipe – with the following ingredients:

Santa Red and jolly
-
Rudolph and sleigh Friendly and welcoming
-
Artisan stalls a great selection
-
Craft stalls an extra selection box
-
Charity stalls happy to help
-
Choirs and bands music and singing
-
Cuddly Lions always looking for a new home
-
Bacon Butty stall sizzling and tasty
-
Various elves and helpers a must have on any day
Combine all of the above and add the Town Mayor Connor Mulhall; Matt and Michael from ITV’s Calendar News; Townsperson of the Year - Louise Pedley, plus Lion President Ruth Holt and hope for good weather!
It all turned out very well indeed !
Plenty for the children with Santa in his Grotto; family photos on the sleigh; great music and singing; bacon butties plus cakes etc; great stalls and a wonderful atmosphere!
A Great day Out ! !
The money raised by the Lions goes towards their annual Midwinter Lunch Party for older members of the community. A two-course dinner with drinks and bingo plus entertainment makes for an excellent day!
Wetherby District Lions are very grateful for your support and say a great big, BIG 'Thank You' to all who helped make it a marvellous day!
