An early Spring clean for the brain !

At least that was the situation at Wetherby Lions Annual Quiz

Eleven Wetherby businesses combined to help Lions raise £800 to donate to local charities

​

‘The evening was beautifully organised and a great success to raise that amount of money'

 

At our 5th annual quiz in partnership with Morrisons, battle was joined by 11 teams who pitted their knowledge against the quiz master with aim of raising funds for the Lions mid-winter party for senior citizens.

​

Unfortunately, cobwebs had not been dusted from some brains but, with our contestants and our wonderful sponsors who donated fantastic raffle prizes, we raised £800!

​

A great evening with food from Pizza Milano, a range of drinks and an opportunity for various businesses to network with others.  Teams taking part were: Hartlaw; Manning Stainton; Hunters; Butler & Ridge; Bradleys Jewellers; Kemps Bookshops; The Breeze deli; Nicolla Florists; Turn7; Morrisons Supermarkets and Wetherby Glass.

Supporting the quiz through a wonderful donation of raffle prizes were: Morrisons; Joywyn Pet Food; the Bike Shack; Bengal Brasserie; Wetherby Travel; Innersense; ASK Italian; BAE; Costa Coffee; Kemps Bookshops; Altham’s Travel; Nicolla Florist and Maybe Later.
