The Great Yorkshire Bike Ride is an annual 70 mile sponsored charity cycle ride from Wetherby to Filey. It takes in some of Yorkshire's best countryside through the Howardian Hills and the Wolds to the coast.
Every year 2,000 cyclists of all ages and abilities take on the challenge of this great Yorkshire event and it has proved to be one of the most popular, successful and highly regarded rides in the country. Being open to all ages and abilities, the ride takes in a fantastic route across the best of Yorkshire to the coast at Filey Brigg. The event offers full support and medical services with four (4) drink-stops and lunch at the half way point. This is one of the 'bucket list' rides that you should try, and once you do, you will come back year after year.
We look forward to the Town Mayors of Wetherby and Filey for officiating at the start and finish respectively of this year's event, see rolling banner above.
