No, not a new member of Wetherby District Lions Club but a new member of Leeds Area RDA! Wetherby Lions are very pleased to have been able to support Tina and her colleagues at the RDA!
Read a bit about Robbie - I came to Leeds Area RDA October 2022 on loan because my mummy wanted me to have a job helping others and I wasn’t getting enough exercise. My family loved me very much and we’ve had lots of fun together. However, I was ready for a new challenge and I’m enjoying myself here making lots of new friends, and like my friend Penny I can take our heavier riders who have outgrown the smaller ponies, which means they don’t have to stop coming. I don’t get as much food here as I did at home but I know my tummy is a bit bigger than it should be! And there are lots of people to groom and scratch me (even Tina has been known to say she likes me!! (And calls me “Big Lad”). My colour is black and I have some white markings too, I have a white stripe on my face and a white sock. Like my other friend Artie, I love people and I hope that they might bring me food; some might say I’m greedy too. I’m not allowed any treats because I currently have a special diet. My favourite things are food and hacking, I love going for a hack and I’m such a good boy at making sure my rider is safe and never get scared or worried. I have settled in so well and getting good at my new job that my mummy says I can stay here permanently.
