Leeds Autism Services

A short while ago we decided to support Leeds Autism Services (LAS) by funding two tablet computers of their choice. We recently went to their Vocational and Community services (VACS) premises in Grape Street, Hunslet to see them in action and be shown around their premises.

Pictured above are Lions Jenny Wade, Clive Houghton, LAS’s Karl Wilson, Steve Cooper and Stuart Reid. Karl is demonstrating the Samsung Galaxy Tabs which currently use standard apps but will have bespoke apps added to them. We also looked around the self-contained premises, which are secure, light, spacious, and divided into smaller rooms for workshops and offices as well as a large areas for communal use.
