"A home is more than just bricks and mortar – it is a place you feel safe, well cared for and relaxed”, that is the ethos of the newcomer to the life of Wetherby and Wetherby Lions are delighted to welcome them as a supporter and sponsor of the Wetherby Beer Festival. Caring and highly trained staff make a real difference to the lives of its residents, offering 24 hour residential and dementia care in luxurious surroundings and providing them an active lifestyle and assisting them to remain independent.

Hopefully Lions members will have the same active culture when they present the Wetherby Beer Festival to be held on 24th & 25th May 2019 at St James’ Church Centre.

Come along of Friday 24th May from 4.00 pm and see the well known local Irish Band, the 'Blarney Boys' (from 7.30 pm) and see the 'Mardi Gras Jazz Band' on Saturday from Noon.

Try the many beers that have been chosen this year from the brewers along Stage 2 of the Tour de Yorkshire. Including such delights as Barnsley-based Acorn Brewery’s yellow jersey-coloured On Ya Bike; Ainsty of York’s Dark Mild; Bingley Brewery’s Bingley Bitter; Bridgehouse of Eccup’s Aired Ale; Hambletons of Ripon’s Stallion Amber; Nomadic of Leeds’ Pale Ale; Pennine of Bedale’s South2North; Revolutions of Castleford’s Tour de Cas; Roosters of Bilton’s Capability Brown and Wetherby Brewco’s Wetherby Classic.
