Wetherby District Lions had a fantastic day at the Tockwith and District Show!

We didn’t quite manage a world record, but the reigning women’s champion successfully defended her title despite the challenging wind — all great fun while raising vital funds to support activities in Wetherby and the surrounding area.

“We’re always delighted by the enthusiasm people bring to the Flat Cap Throwing – it’s a brilliant way to bring communities together, and raise a smile while raising funds that are ploughed back into the local community through our many activities,” said Ruth Holt, President for the Wetherby & District Lions Club.
