Lions invited to Sandringham!!

Best bib and tucker, cucumber sandwiches, a glass of bubbly…….alas, only ice cream and face painting!

It was an invitation to the opening of Sandringham Park in Wetherby.

The new playpark will be a fantastic asset to the town and the local community.

Wetherby Lions are delighted to have been able to contribute to the purchase of equipment.

The Mayor of Wetherby, Cllr. Connor Mulhall, officially opened the playground, 5th August, at 11am.

During which Cllr Kazia Knight received an award for her work in promoting the development of the playground.
