What ROARING Few Months

Well it has been a few months since we had a new blog post, we have been so busy helping out with a variety of projects and great causes and as always the people of Wetherby and surrounding villages. We thought a big "Roaring" post was needed to catch up before all the excitement of Christmas.
August started with a thank-you from our friends at Wetherby BMX Track for which we donated funds to purchase crushed stone to help build the track.
We look forward to seeing it finished and who knows having a blast round.
Next came our gift of a trip to Filey. Each year we sponsor a weeks stay in a lovely spacious 4-bed caravan in Filey. We are told the sun shone and a great time was had.
Then we received a big thankyou from Wetherby Bulldogs ARLFC for supporting the next generation of Bulldogs! We proudly provided them with some new balls, cones and tags.
We then enjoyed a summer afternoon sponsoring a concert at Wetherby Bandstand with great music and Ice-cream was involved.
We next joined up with by staffing bars for the Wetherby Festival at a diverse set of events including comedy, blues, call my wine bluff, and much more.
No time for us to rest, we have already started planning for next years Wetherby 'The Drovers' Brass Band Marching Contest , readying Santa's sleigh for his outings around Wetherby and our famous Dickensian Christmas Market & Craft Fayre and so much more.
Along with all these we donated to the Wetherby Musical Theatre Group supporting their recent stage production. A donation to Mason House residents for an outing to Barnsley Market and a donation to a local Girl Guide to help enable her to go on an international trip.
