Newly Appointed Lion

President Malcolm Bolland (pictured left) was delighted to induct John Boulton into Wetherby District Lions Club at the meeting on Monday the 16th March 2015. Newly appointed Lion John brings with him over 30 years of experience in the teaching profession, holding a variety of posts in both primary and secondary education. He is looking forward to supporting the local community by working with our Lions Club in the many and varied activities planned for this year. The first event is the Mascot Gold Cup Race at the Wetherby Race Course on the 26th of April, followed by The Great Yorkshire Bike Ride on the 6th of June and a Duck Race, as part of the Wetherby Food Festival on the 12th July.
