Lions Flying High

Grant to Yorkshire Air Ambulance.....

Lions recently made a donation of £3,500 to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) at the Bridge Hotel & Spa.

YAA's Jenny Jones received the cheque and spoke to Lion members of the recent developments in her organisation. She was pleased to announce that their two (2) new helicopters are now operational, both being capable of flying at night and operating from 6 am to 12 midnight . Their running costs are £12,000 per day and our donation was gratefully received.

We look forward to our ongoing relationship with Yorkshire Air Ambulance and wish them well with their two new helicopters and their fundraising activities.
