Lion Kingdom Grows - Another Member for Wetherby Lions

Lion President John Boulton takes the latest recruit through the Lionistic investiture ceremony. Afterwards Lion Ken Campbell commented, "I joined Wetherby Lions having been impressed with the level of commitment and hard work of members and I'm looking forward to contributing to the growth of the group".

Ken spent his early working life as a retail manager before changing to work in education as a headteacher, adviser with the Department for Education and latterly as a consultant. He has lived in Collingham for over 40 years before moving to Wetherby last year; he enjoys being involved with the community.

For over fifty years Wetherby District Lions Club members have been helping individuals and organisations in times of need assisted by the generosity of the people of the Wetherby District.
