Another 'Roaring Success' for Wetherby Lions

Lion President John Boulton takes the latest recruit through the Lionistic investiture ceremony. Lion Derek, commented "that since he began helping Wetherby Lions he also feels now that he can contribute to something worthwhile - and put something back in to the community he loves being a part of". Derek has enjoyed wide ranging experiences in his career, he now enjoys his hobby of crown green bowling and an allotment gardener. He now looks to seek out roles within Lionism.

For fifty two years Wetherby District Lions Club members have been helping individuals and organisations in times of need assisted by the generosity of the people of the Wetherby district.
