Presidential Change

It is with great 'pride' that I take on the role of Wetherby District Lions President for 2019/20. For over fifty four years Wetherby District Lions Club has been helping individuals and organisations in times of need assisted by the generosity of the people of the Wetherby District.

For the last two years we had a tremendous time under the leadership of Lion John Boulton with events such as our 'Duck Race', the 'Santa Outings', the 'Dickensian Christmas Market', the 'Great Yorkshire Bike Ride' and most recently our 'Wetherby Beer Festival'. We hope to continue with these events in the months to come however these events are only possible by the time and hard work given freely by ordinary people doing extraordinary things.
