'Check out' the Lions!

Wetherby District Lions and Morrison’s are working together for the benefit of our local community and have a very close working relationship with Morrison’s Community Champion. Lion members are able to replenish funds through in-store ‘bag packs’ and to contribute to Morrison’s efforts to support the most vulnerable in the community. We also support each other’s events – advertising and selling tickets for Lion’s promotions such as the Great Yorkshire Bike Ride, Wetherby Duck Race; Wetherby Beer Festival; the very popular Santa’s Sleigh; raising funds for CLIC Sargent; Morrison’s community quiz and regular ‘one day’ events such as ‘Yorkshire Day’.

This excellent partnership, with generous support from local printer Printworks North, is shown in the in-store display boards advertising Morrison’s community work.
