Townsperson of the Year unmasked......but still socially distanced!

Tim Ritson, President of Wetherby and District Lions presents the Townsperson of the year Award Councillor Norma Harrington!

Despite the restrictions around COVID-19 and being almost five months late, Tim Ritson, President of Wetherby and District Lions was finally able to personally present the Lions' prestigious award to a very deserving recipient - Councillor Norma Harrington! Norma's name will be added to the board in the Town Hall. As this is an annual award usually presented in December, towards the end of this year, please advise the Lions of anyone you consider to have made a significant contribution to the Wetherby and District community in 2021.
